Christos Tsaprounis:
Volunteer
Christos was born in Greece, in the beautiful and ancient city of Athens, spending the first two decades of my life in the sunny southern suburbs of Athens.
In 2002 he moved to Manchester to study and after almost ten years despite his friend's continuous efforts, he says he is still not quite fluent in Mancunian.
Christos works in human resources management and enjoys swimming, playing tennis, reading and traveling around the world.
Why did you decide to volunteer for Survivors Manchester?
I initially decided to volunteer for Survivors Manchester to help a friend who was trying to make a difference. I later realised the importance of the services that Survivors Manchester provides and the great potential it has to develop and help more men in more ways.
What would you like to see Survivors Manchester do in Manchester?
I would like to see Survivors Manchester be given the resources to be able to help more men make positive change and break the silence. I would like to see a time when Survivors Manchester is known by everyone in this great city
Do you have a message for Greater Manchester residents?
Giving the right support to the ones that need it should be a responsibility shared by all of us.
What’s your favourite thing about Manchester?
My favorite thing about Manchester has always been its people,
oh and Selfridges!
