Come and Work with us

22.10.21 | Blog

Survivors Manchester is delighted to be able to invite applications to individuals to come and work with us on tackling the impact of the sexual abuse of boys and men in Greater Manchester, based in our Salford/City Centre premises.

Since 2009, the organisation has been at the forefront of tackling sexual violence locally and nationally and demand on our services has grown exponentially, with us providing quality assured services to over 1000 male survivors and their loved ones every year. Our trauma-informed services provide individuals with opportunities to break free from the negative and often debilitating impact of sexual violence and recognise that there is hope in healing and we do everything in our power to ensure that healing is possible.

#YouAreNotAlone – We’re Open!

Our amazing team (yes, they are truly amazing) is expanding and we are now looking for a number of roles that all support the delivery of our services, both front line and ‘back office’.

All of our services and activities are trauma informed and victim/survivor focused – which means that we develop and deliver services where our actions and decisions are underpinned by Judith Herman’s ground breaking ‘Trauma and Recovery’ work and our ever expanding understanding of the data and knowledge gained from the inspirational men and their loved ones we serve weekly, which has allowed us to adapt our delivery to meet the specific and identified needs of male victims/survivors using a continual feedback cycle.
In return for your time, experience and commitment to the organisation, you will receive a competitive salary; annual leave package with incremental rises plus bank holidays; company sick pay; Birthday annual leave; monthly clinical supervision; pension contribution; and a range of discount and benefit programmes.
If you think you could achieve great things with us, want to come on a journey with us, then we absolutely want to hear from you.
