DC-KY-Crimewatch On Thursday 29.11.2013, our founder and Service Director, Duncan, had the honour of speaking live on BBC One’s Crimewatch, hosted by Kirsty Young.
Following an appeal for information on two men that sexually assaulted and raped a young man in Watford, presenter Kirsty Young introduced Duncan and Survivors Manchester, asking why its so difficult for men to come forward as victims. Duncan was able to talk briefly about breaking down barriers, the support out there for males and the pride he has for the work on the Hollyoaks male rape story.
Following the programme, our Twitter and Facebook page were buzzing and our website hits shot through the roof. This is another step forward in breaking the silence!
If you have any information that may help Hertfordshire Police, please call the incident room on Incident room on 01707 354 047.
