We are absolutely delighted to announce and support our good friends at Mankind in Brighton as they co-produce their first play for the Brighton Fringe, Groomed. Groomed-Flyer
Chief Executive Officer and good friend of Survivors Manchester, Martyn Sullivan told us

As part of our Community Squared Project, we are presenting and co-producing a new play in this year’s Brighton Fringe. We’ve been working with London based theatre company Ingenious Purpose to bring this exciting new piece which has been written and is performed by Patrick Sandford, based on his real life experience.
GROOMED weaves three compelling narratives, a betrayed schoolboy, a Japanese solider and the inventor of the saxophone, into a revealing and profoundly human statement. This is startling and powerful theatre, sometimes shocking but not for one moment depressing.
The Community Squared Project will explore society’s beliefs, perceptions and expectations around the sexual abuse of men, and develop practical initiatives to change how our community talk and think about male survivors.
