psychotherapyHere at Survivors Manchester, we are always on the look out for people with the right experience, skills, drive and passion for what we do to join us.
Our work sees us working in various environments’ from our Manchester city centre base, prison and secure settings, in the heart of BME and faith communities, right through to satellite spaces across Greater Manchester and the North West. Whilst our service delivery is Greater Manchester, we are also developing services across the North West in response to need, and working with our colleagues across the country to develop male specific services where there are non.
So to ensure that we have the best team to move forward, we are currently looking for interested qualified and experienced therapists to join us as a number of positions become available.
We’re looking for people who:

  • have experience of working with sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation with children and adults
  • have experience of working in prisons, probation, secure settings, hospitals and GP settings
  • have experience of working with BME, traveller, refugee and asylum seeking communities

Our model of therapeutic support entails working interactively, using person centered principles, with CBT / psychodynamic / existential / solution focused therapy skills, and will require individuals to work from various settings and may involve travel across Greater Manchester and the North West.
We are particularly interested in people with experience of working with Military Veterans, prisoners, people with drug and alcohol issues, trans males, have qualifications in EMDR  / Trauma-Focused CBT and hold a full UK clean driving licence.
As part of our commitment to fostering positive relationships and showcasing growth and healing, we actively encourage male survivors with the experience and qualifications to apply.
