Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence awareness week 2015
Today marks the start of the first ever national Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence awareness week. Survivors Manchester is proud to be supporting this new campaign to #BreaktheSilence and raise awareness of the sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation of boys and men.
We’re working hard to make sure that an open and honest discussion takes place about the realities of sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation suffered by boys and men. Too many people have suffered in silence and for the first time this year support organisations from across the country are joining their voices together both online and offline to say #itsnotok!
Will you join with us to help #BreakTheSilence and say #itsnotok? Keep an eye out on social media for updates all this week. Join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook. More information on the campaign is available from www.sexualabuseandsexualviolenceawarenessweek.org
If you or anyone you know is struggling with the impact of sexual abuse, rape or sexual exploitation, check out the Support Services section of our website.
