BackTheresa May says "sorry" for two abuse inquiry resignations
Following the second resignation of the National Inquiry into Historical Child Abuse, Home Secretary Theresa May has apologised in the commons to survivors, stating
“it’s obviously very disappointing that we do not now have an inquiry chairman. For that I want to tell survivors that I’m sorry.”
Duncan Craig, Survivors Manchester CEO said
“I hope now that the next step the Home Secretary makes involves discussions with survivors and those organisation that support victims/survivors, and not just the national agencies, but the smaller organisations that deliver support on the ground”
